Privacy policy

Effective from Oct 19, 2026.

1. Who is responsible for data

The administration of the mmoradar website is responsible for processing data on the site. For any questions about data, write to [email protected].

2. Visitor data

You can read the site without registering. We do not ask visitors for a name or an email address, and the public pages have no forms that store anything.

Technical request data

To open a page, your browser sends the server your IP address, the page address and request headers, including the browser language. The root address of the site uses the browser language to open the home page in a suitable language; the language is not stored.

We do not keep a log of visits. If processing a request fails, the IP address and the page address may get into the server error log.

Server statistics

The server counts requests, response times and errors per section of the site. These aggregate figures are not linked to individual visitors.

Cookies and browser storage

Public pages set no cookies and store nothing in the browser. A script on the page itself shows times in your time zone: the zone is not sent to the server.

Third-party services

Fonts, styles and scripts are loaded from our server. We use no visitor counters, ad networks or widgets of other sites.

Links to the websites and communities of game servers lead to other sites with their own data rules.

3. Data about game servers

The catalog collects information about game servers from public sources: toplists and announcement sites. We store the server name, the addresses of its website and communities, rates, game version and launch dates.

To verify this information, we keep copies of the pages loaded from the sources. They may contain nicknames and other data posted by the authors of the posts. We do not extract or show them.

We also check whether the websites and game ports of servers are available. These checks reach the servers, not visitors.

4. Legal basis

  • Technical request data — to show the page and protect the server: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Server statistics — to keep the site fast and stable: legitimate interest.
  • Information about servers and copies of source pages — to run an open catalog and verify its data: legitimate interest.

5. Where data is stored

The site and its data are hosted on a rented server in the European Union. The hosting provider processes data only on our behalf. We do not transfer data outside the EU.

6. Retention

  • Server statistics — 90 days.
  • Server logs are overwritten by new entries as they fill up.
  • Results of individual availability checks of servers are deleted month by month, once the whole month is older than 90 days.
  • Information about servers is kept while the catalog is maintained. Copies of source pages are deleted 180 days after they are loaded; the page address, the time of loading and the technical headers of the response are kept to verify the catalog data.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing and object to it.

To exercise a right, write to [email protected]. If you own a server or wrote a post and want information about you corrected or removed, write to the same address.

You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.

8. Changes to this policy

When we start processing new data or change retention periods, we update this page and the date at its top.
